Problem: The homeowner had a sloping front yard that needed to be taken into account in creating an appealing entry.
Solution: Anthony Landscapes came up a formal design that incorporated a low wall along the drive that defines not only the walkway, but also the raised garden beds.
Using cobblestone pavers with well-defined capstones provides an element of understated grandeur without overpowering the scale of the home. The result is a pleasing little journey that leads the visitor up a series of winding steps between garden beds to the front door.
